Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Portland Private Town Car website and the private chauffeur, black car, airport transfer, wine tour, and corporate transportation services we provide. By placing a reservation through our site, by phone, or by email, you agree to these terms.

RESERVATIONS & CONFIRMATION

A reservation is considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation from our dispatch team. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance, including for Sprinter van and multi-vehicle requests. Same-day bookings are accepted based on availability. For airport pickups, we track your flight in real time and adjust for delays at no additional charge.

RATES & PAYMENT

Rates vary by vehicle and service type, and are quoted at the time of booking. Quoted fares include the base rate and any included mileage; additional mileage, waiting time, tolls, parking, and gratuities may be added to the final fare. Payment may be made online by credit card via our secure checkout or as otherwise arranged with dispatch. Unless a deposit or prepayment is required, payment is due upon completion of service. Prices do not include taxes where applicable.

CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up are refunded in full. Cancellations within 24 hours of pick-up, or failure to appear at the arranged pick-up location (a no-show), are charged 100% of the total reservation cost. Prepaid amounts for cancelled rides are refunded to the original payment method. If we cancel a ride for reasons within our control, any prepayment is refunded in full.

GRATUITY

Gratuity is not included in your rate and is always optional.

PASSENGER CONDUCT & SAFETY

Passengers are expected to treat our chauffeurs and vehicles with respect. We may decline or end service, without refund, for conduct that endangers the driver or other passengers, damage to the vehicle, or violations of the law, including open containers of alcohol and smoking inside any vehicle. Seat belts must be worn by all passengers, and vehicle capacity limits may not be exceeded.

SERVICE LIMITATIONS

While we strive for punctuality, travel times may be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, and other conditions beyond our control, and we are not liable for delays or consequential losses arising from such conditions. Our total liability for any claim relating to a ride is limited to the fare charged for that ride. Please allow reasonable buffer time for time-sensitive travel such as flight departures.
